Nice.  My guess is the theme is "Bobcat colors"!

Bobcat colors are maroon and gold! :lol:

    Boston Bruins ???

75 a week is pretty impressive.  Especially on that bike.

Strava or Map My Ride ?

Bruins is fitting, especially given tonight's game...and the fact that I'm wearing a Chara shirt right now.  I do have some custom Bruins decals coming in, and one will go on the bike.

    However, this is the theme:

I'm even growing out my mustache for the BMX Roundup coming up at the end of the month, have a red pearl snap shirt on order.  Just need to find the right aviators to complete the look!

My "bmx" rig. Haven't taken it off any sweet jumps though...

Has a new black DK stem, and I bought black rims, but only 32h because I'm stoopid. Need to order the 36h and hubs and get the new wheels built. This project is the one most impacted by my tank. It's definitely taken a backseat the last year or so.

Finally got this build completed.  Only thing left to do is the custom decals, but it's tough finding gold foil/chrome.  Can you guess what the theme is?

Been putting in the miles lately too.  Knocked down about 150 in the last 2 weeks.  Pretty cool app that tracks them:

  3. Necessity is the mother of invention.  I didn't invent the acclimation box, but I needed one, because I have a fish that needs to be segregated until I can sell him, and I'm not interested in taking 50% (or less) on trade in.  By the way:  Fish for Sale!

Was not interested in spending the money or waiting for mail order, so looked at what I had, and decided I could do something w/ some light diffuser and screen netting, but didn't have enough diffuser grate to make the whole thing out of it, and didn't really want to either - seemed like it would be super bulky.  Had decided I would bite the bullet and drive 30min to the Slaughter/35 Home Depot to buy a 1/4" fiberglass rod to cut into pieces as my lengthwise framing.  Stopped by the Ace Hardware just to see if there was anything better 10min from my house and found something I didn't expect:  plastic clothes hangers.  8 for under $2 or so.  Picked up a fresh 100pack of zip ties, and good to go.  Turned out pretty darn good!

  4. $50 Captive Bred Neon Dottyback, 3”+

QT’d, healthy, fat and happy. Had him for about a year, maybe longer? Needs to be in a bigger tank, with larger and more aggressive rich than I have in mine. He hasn’t been too bad, but he got into the overflow today and I figured I’d take the opportunity to make the move. PM me if interested.

Pick up in/near Westlake. Use Westlake Marina on google.com/maps for reference. PayPal or cash

  5. I say leave it alone as well.  If for no other reason than you've had some terrible luck in the past.  Couple bills for a UV Sterilizer and try and enjoy having a living room as a living room for more than a couple of months at a time!

I've been putting off pulling out all of my rocks, fragging/trimming what's still living and doing a complete re-scape just because I know how many things can go wrong.  And I don't want to fish room the dining area for 2 months again.

All in all I’ve lost around 40 acros ranging in size from frag to colony. I’m bracing for more losses. Weirdly all softies and LPS are vibrant and healthy and happy. Who knows.

Been following along, as this is exactly how I would describe my last year or so, although I did lose all of my acans in addition to the SPS.  Only SPS I have left are some purple stylos, and they aren't exactly thriving.  My params haven't been quite so rock solid as yours, but pretty stable overall.  Montis gone, milles gone, pocillopora gone, cyphastrea barely hanging on.

  7. Time for an update!  Not the most uplifting, but here we are...  I think my tank had some variation of OTS.  The algae was out of control, and many of my frags/colonies had died.  Completely cleaned out the fuge, and have been treating w/ Fluconazole (3 cycles).  My refugium never worked the way I wanted it to.  The DSB in there had next to no flow, and I think got a bit toxic. Removed a fair amount of sand from the display tank as well - probably more to come.

Think this tank is going to be more softies and fish going forward.  Just haven't been successful w/ sps, and this tank is what it is now.  How do we get there, functionally?  That is where I welcome your input, ARC!  Chime in!  Lots will be for sale eventually, so feel free to PM me w/ anything you might want down the road.

I think my plan is to re-landscape, frag up some of the colonies to make room, get rid of some more sand, and add some fish.  Euphyllias, mushrooms, leathers, maybe an anemone again...

Stream of consciousness re: video  below:

Frogspawn has been happy and healthy until those 2 heads died a couple of weeks back.  No other heads seem to be even sad or affected.  Thinking of fragging this guy up into 5+ pieces.

Will find a way to keep GSP, likely on it's own island/tower.

Mushrooms have never been happier - this vid is them at 80%.  Definitely going to frag and sell - I have rouge shrooms all over the tank.  Metallic Blue Mushrooms

Hammer is going to get fragged up.  It's happy, w/ baby heads popping up on all trunks.

Lone Star Leather - hit me up!  $40 for 2x2" chunk.

Peach Leather - will sell the whole thing for $30.  There are some blue fuzzy shrooms under there that can't thrive in the shadow, and I want to see them go/grow.

Cinnamon Grandis Palys - going to frag this up too

  8. The SC ruling says states "can" charge, but it doesn't require it.  I know that we don't charge tax for any customers outside of Texas, but we don't sell a tangible goood  (SaaS).  Just looking at my last half-dozen Amazon orders and only 2 have any tax collected, and one order looks like it only collected from 2 items out of 7 ($3.83 is 4.1% of $91.26).  Still the wild, wild, west out there!

  9. Sascha - what's the price break on that much?  I would think the shipping would offset any discount, but I know you pay attention to that closely, so curious as to the actual discount after shipping.

Not sure how it would really apply to me, as 4 packs lasts me ~4 months, but just curious on the math involved.
