There is one at AquaTek. My girlfriend said it looks "pimp" and it comes with all the equipment, but they are asking $3,700. You could visit and see if they are willing to sell you the tank and sell the package deal to someone else with a different tank.

when you turn off the pump your hose turns into a syphon that sucks aquarium water back into your pump and into the sump. a syphon break is a hole in your return spout very near the top of the water. now when you turn off the pump the hole will suck in air to your sump, and not water.

You guessed it. Now that I got my new pump I need a higher rate overflow box. Does anyone have one that can pull 1200gph and has a water level adjustment?

How old/big is it? Is it captive bred? Unfortunately I have been told that is the last fish I should add from my list. I don't have much else, especially for trade. My tank is fairly new and I don't have any frags. Sorry.

It's a real shame, but you all sound like vegetarians. Don't you have other people kill animals for you to eat? Don't you have some omnivores or carnivores in your own tanks?

I've been with the hobby for about a year. I have a 105 tall with an Oceanic model 2 sump. I'm still eager to learn more. I stocked my tank a little too quickly and need to find out how to catch some fish to trade or sell without dismantling my rockwork. Any advice? In regards to the ocean current, water is constantly circulating in massive volume, but the new water is not any cleaner, it is still used ocean water. The problem starts when we overstock a tank. All filtration in the ocean is organic; there is no such thing as water changes with "new" water.

I happen to also have Red Sea and I'm going to San Marcos this afternoon. I'm not sure if you're still there or if you would like me to drop off the sample at a LFS or your residence. Or you could wait until monday...

I think I've got little in my new tank. It's kind of strong and round. Must have come in on the live rock, but the ends look cut. I don't know what's eating it, but something is. Possibly the turbos. Don't cheap out on your clean-up crew.

I've got a mag 5 if you're interested. It turns over 380gph at 3' and 310gph at 4'. I'm not sure how much flow you need.

How much heat are we talking? I already have the a/c at 68' and a fan just to keep the temp at 76'.

I need to upgrade my return pump. I've got a 105 with a head level of about 5ft. Does anyone know the output of an Eheim 1262 @ 5ft? I don't know what the LFS was thinking when they told me a Mag 5 would work. Let me know what you've got to offer or any advice.

I have a "105 show"(48x18x30) tank with a Mag 5 return pump. I'm in desperate need of an upgrade. I'm interested if you have something with low power consumption, very little noise, proper flow, and low heat. I'm considering a Mag 12 or the Eheim 1262. Open to other suggestions inline or submerged. Does anyone know the flow rate of an Eheim 1262 with a head level of 5ft?
