  1. *Update. I had to revert to the default template while I'm working out the issue.
  2. I'm activly investigating this. Stay tuned.
  3. I have contacted them a handful of times with zero response. I don't much care for RC anyway (Gasp) Seriously, if anyone knows the right person to contact that can make it happen then by all means knock yourself out.
  4. Thanks for helping out Cindy. I felt bad that I had to back out of coordinating. If it ships on the 27th everyone will need to pick up the afternoon of Tuesday the 28th? That will work good for me. 3 weeks will be ample time for every one to get their order in.
  5. Cindy, if you would like to coordinate with everyone. We could do it whenever is best for you. Just give people enough time to put their order in. Instruction from Ken at SeaLifeInc: 1) Whoever is receiving the package needs to pay the initial $27 for shipping. 2) Then when other people place their order select the "combine with eBay" shipping option. 3) Then put "austinreefclub" in the ID field and the agreed upon ship date in the transaction number field. 4) Then pay the coordinator their part of the shipping in cash when they pick up their items. (will likely be between $5 to $10)
  6. Collen, I just sent you a private message regarding your questions.
  7. It looks like this group-buy is going to be a bust, unless someone else wants to take on the responsibility of coordinating the shipping. I am not going to be able to take off from work like I had orginally planned to be there for the package.
  8. All, There is going to be a frag auction at the meeting. All proceeds from this auction will be donated to Steve at horizon aquatics. If you would like to help, please bring a frag to be auctioned off. I know there will be some nice frags, including a Duncanops axifunga. If you have any questions please PM me.
  9. I suggest using super glue gel for the zoos. Take the zoos out, then apply a small blob to the bottom then carefully reach in the tank and press them to the rock of your choice. Wear glasses and or gloves if you have them, as zoos can be highly poisonous. For the mushroom, simply rubber band it to the rock. It will look funny for a few days, but it will attach itself to the rock at which point you can remove the rubber band. I'm not sure what the cute pink flowery thing is, but the super glue gel / rubber band will probably work for it too. HTH
  10. Me too. I hope to get mine this weekend!

Mojo, I just read through all 10 billion of your pages on RC and I am a little overwhelmed. I just wanted to say thank you for taking to time to blog on ARC. Sorry we're gonna miss you at the meeting this weekend, but can't wait to see the aquascaping. If you ever need a hand, just let me know.
  12. They are all very good. I'm having the hardest time deciding who to give my vote too.
  13. Not at all. LFS is an acronym for Local Fish Store. HTH

Might check out the group order section. We're about to order from sealifeinc. They have some nice rics at reasonable prices.
  15. My guess is the first pic was taken with a flash. A very nice RBA picture. I love the touch up Gabriel! Some people would argue that adjusting the white balance on a photo is misrepresenting the actual item, but my opinion is the exact opposite. Removing the glare and cleaning up the background really make the coral colors pop. Some great pictures.

    Newbie here

Welcome to ARC. How did you hear about us? Look forward to seeing some pics of your nano.
  19. I agree that it helps to spread the feeding out. I've been putting a cube in my wavebox so that it spits it out over the course of a few minutes.
  20. http://www.reefcast.com/episodes/reefcast23.mp3 This is a good podcast with a lot of information about the porcupine.
