  1. Because it's that time of year, I managed to knock an open, half full smaller jar of fish pellets into the 90g tank. Looked like it was snowing pink pellets. Scooped out what I could with the net, then did a 20g water change to suck out what I could. Problem: there's still a (to me) significant amount behind the rocks where I can't get to. Got several brittle stars and crabs and a foxface who loves the stuff and I'm hoping they'll clean it up. Should I remove all 100# of rock to get it all, or wait and see what happens?

    Thanks!!

  2. Umm...yes. I would pay the $100/pr... Have wanted the platinum at Aquatek ever since I saw it, but can't afford/not willing to spend $300. Love the look though! I've heard it's extremely demanding to raise the fry, but it may can be worth it if you have the time...

  3. Ok, I need advice on which skimmer to get. I've decided to try to go new but still would like to stay under $300 if possible. In a 90g heavily stocked tank with a 20g sump, what are ya'lls suggestions based on your experiences?

    Thanks!

  4. Yeah, nitrates and a new tank will cause it. How's the flow in your tank? I'm fixing to add a powerhead to the bottom of my 90 tall because even with a lot of flow in the upper reaches, the bottom isn't getting enough. Right now my most awesome onespot foxface is actually eating the cyano that's growing. He also helped a ton with a hair algae problem I had. (Newish tank also...) Marine SAT helped with the hair algae too...
