  1. Made a cheap DIY "Julian's thing" the other day from stuff I had laying around. Cost nothing.

    10 mL syringe.

    2' length of airline tubing

1" length of hospital auction tubing

1.5' length of rigid airline tube.

I straightened the airline tube by warming it with water an putting kabob skewers through it and letting it cool. It stays straight enough.

Used super glue to join it with the flexible airline tubing using the little 1" suction tube. Like joining two PVC pipes. It was a perfect fit. Then the airline tube meets the syringe.

Now I can spot feed each lps coral without gettin my hands wet. Reaches all the way to the bottom of the tank.

    Saved $40

Where can we find the big syringes? My wife said that she saw them once at a concert with Jell-O shots. I tried walgreens and cvs and they looked at me wierd like why do u need something that big

I found one here but looking for something local

  3. Got two of the 55 gallon barrels. But after buying realized the top won't come off totally. It just has two openings.

Does any one have the same barrels setup for RO and salt mixing? If so can u post some pics

Is there anyway to open the tops and still use them to cover the top

I am thinking of adding an outlet at the bottom of barrels so I can easily fill them in 5 gallon buckets. But not sure where I can find the spigots.

These are the pics of what I bought

  4. I have an ASM G2 skimmer that works great but the pump got some thing in it and the impeller got stuck. I can include the pump if you want. I am buying a new bubble magus curve 7 so selling the G2.

PM me with offers. No low ball offers though. I can just replace the pump for $70 and keep as backup. This is well worth the money.
