I have in trade an IceCap 250W Electronic Metal Halide Ballast (will run SE or DE bulbs).

Have the same sand in my 110.

I thought in the beginning it would never settle.

Fitler socks helped a lot.

I also used bulk filter material in my return and changed it daily.

It will eventually settle.
