  1. hey patrick i have a 28g jbj nano cube! that i have COMPLETLY moded (I did months of research about cubes, and specficly the jbj HQI!! its a powerhouse! I would not mind if you stoped by and you could pick my brain on it! as i might you for your planted FW tank knowledge. call me 512-619-nine9six3 and you can come by sometime!
  2. can anyone let me use hanna to calibrate current method of vial with sw and liquid regeant. (i have two salifert, and api that came with the tank) i have been using my api test for 6 months cause of how quick it is. and have kept it between 9-11 dkh. untill someone told api test were wacky so i just want to test!

  4. API, Salifert, Lamotte, Hanna some one told me API test kits run low. which test kit do you use and why? any kits have you found not to be true?

  7. the tree house! http://www.treehousegrill.com/ i had never heard of it! but i drove by and had to stop! worth the money!
  8. oh and i replace lights every 6 months! florecent screw in 15w bulbs from walmart!
  9. well kinda small for plants! but have been running some phosphate filter floss! and do weekly water changes! its over stocked but! I give this tank a tone of care! its not bad! just want to look clean and new! or pristenly clean! dosent bother the fish they enjoy eating it! and the tank has been running sucsefully for almost a year now with no hickups! puffer sure does like soming diffrent to eat every day! and snails once a week! tank is healthy... maybe im asking too much!
  10. get your self some nitrifying liquid bacteria for salt water! your tank is in its cylcing process if you have nitrites! your fish are very sensitive to this untill you tank bonds ammonia, (bioload) and nirites! to then get some nitrate! hopefully as little as possible in the end! but it does take a long time depending on how you do it!
