    How long do ya'll run phos ban for? Getting told a few different things.

      If your tank has high level of phosphates then the phosban/phosguard/gfo get saturated in a matter of hours. I am running phosphate remover and observe the algae. If they start getting green I regenerate the phosphate remover, usually about once per 2-3 months.

    Can you lower your pH without lowering your ALK?

      I would wash it in acidic environment (around pH4) and then calibrate.
