  1. good idea, when the light start in an hour and another light will on in half hour after the first light fired I will start to drip some Artic Pods to give them to distract for extra hours. I did peek the tank and see Sixline swimming around but not checkerboard, checker is sleeping right now. Hope that checker and sixline doing okay and trace!
  2. Today I bought sixline wrasse and I put in tank about 9 pm and Checkerboard aggressive and attack sixline, I thought checkerboard is peaceful temperant and not aggressive. Sixline is hiding the Rock, Checkerboard searching sixline. I hope so they will alright by next day? Its first time introduce each other and it is normal to attack sixline because of terrority? I had checkerboard for two weeks.
  3. Hi Carlos, WHich the list of Wrasses should be nice to add my tank? I see several Wrasses on list, its Reef safe and have exist one wrasse, blenny, PJ cardinal and paired Ocellaris in tank. which one will be perfect choose for this?
  4. I am glad that sunny found a new owner and home.. sure that sunny has big room to swim around and space for her terrority. I can hold two red ear slider for you when you move a house and pond, then we can give you two turtles. Let us know when you can take turtles. Ron
  5. I agrees with you about wrasse, I already fascinated with checkerboard wrasse, how they movement and how move their body when sacvaenger the pods and other. I already lost twice to sixline because I don't know that sixline jump out the tank. Until now I have eggcrate on top of tank. Now I had more comfortable that there will not be another victim of carpet surfer. I think about get several wrasses addition to my tank. Check RCA for holiday to see if they have in stock? if not, then try give a order it from LA.
  6. My wife and I are sadly miss Yellow Tang we give tang away to Dena, the new owner. Tang is great algae eater and partner with Blenny. We have to let go away because Tang get bigger and aggressive. Not suitable for 4 feet length. Now we watched the tv and not realized that there is no big yellow around the tank. now tank looks so plain. and quiet.. We discussed about get other few list fishes to color it up. What do you think or suggest about the livestock? for 75 gallon tank and its reef tank. I have caheckerboard wrasse, two paired ocellaris, a Blenny and a PJ cardinal in our tank. sixline? flame angel? Copperband butterfly? other wrasse? chromis? cardinal? what else do you recommend..
  7. OK I will read the article later this night and maybe best time to perform next week when my wife and step-son go out to Dallas for christmas week, while I am alone at home to babysit pets and place. Give me time to work on tank and clean the relfectors, etc.....

  9. My wife just called me in work. Yellow Tang needs to BOOT out of tank, Yellow get aggressive right now, Ocellaris got slice in the body and wound really bad, like open cut when you cut with knife, also attack other fish, wrasse, checkerboard has missing tail. Cardinal almost jump out the tank because tang chase cardinal. I can't go to home right now to check the wounds. I have to stay work because many students need me to help with their math for final exam. I need to contact with Karen first, because she give me for free so, if she want take it back or not, can trade something for Tang, I think 4 or 5 inches length, good healthy fish. I have no tolerance for wound other fishes. I will not answer the email until tonight I think I will be home at 8 pm.

  14. I was arrived home from ACC. I saw only one ocellaris, impossible missing one ocellaris, I know that I have paired ocellaris and I searched all the tank and find that ocellaris was lying on the carpet behind the tank, I happened to pick him and he starts jump when I pick. He is dehydrated. I acted quickly and throw in the tank. he grasped the breathes and I gentle him, he in my hand to ressure him. He is starting to swim with his mate. I guess he will died soon or next day cause damage from dehydrate or shocked from trumatic?? anyone can give a good or bad news so I can prepare to accept the news next day before I will find him die early morning. Paired Ocellaris is my best gift when I got them last year as first setup as saltwater.
  15. I have problem with bubble aglae on the pink sps frag. got frag from arc member, He say get emabld crab, mine has not touch it for a while. I wonder if the bubble algae can cause SPS to release toxic? There a lots of tiny bubble aglae bulds it up surround the SPS. I am little furious with this. wonder if I can pull sps out of tank and remove the bubbles then rinise the new batch of saltwater then return to tank, already spread bubble aglae into tank since I got frag from other member

Codium edule limu wawae'iole (Chlorophyta) Features: Soft, spongy to touch Forked branches Dark green Lies prostrate, frequently attached to substrate and rubble Description: Fleshy, felt-like, dark green plants, 1-2 cm diameter. Soft, spongy to touch. Branches repeatedly forked. Branches lie prostrate and attach to anything on the substrate, forming mats incorporating bits of coral rubble, rocks and shells. Habitat: Codium edule is common throughout the islands and is found intertidally to subtidally, 2-4 m deep, but most commonly subtidally. C. edule is a popular edible seaweed sold in markets in Hawai`i. Its Hawaiian name means rat's foot, after the appearance of the thin, cylindrical branches. So should put in the refuge? Ronald
