An air pump should help some. A month is a long time for PH. It can shift in a few hours. I would take it and have them test it again. If it is low then you should recalibrate your meter.

I would suggest taking a sample of your water to RCA and have them test it to see what they say. Just make sure you take the water there quickly after collecting it to be as accurate as possible. If you are sure your PH meter is calibrated right I would venture to guess it is more accurate then the tests.

For SPS usually at least 30x. Many LPS and softies don't like that much though so it is kind of a balance act.

Yeah that is only about 12x turnover. SPS would like more than that. I think I would go with the Koralia over the Maxijet just because it has a wider stream which would help more in a small tank like that.

Looks nice. How many GPH do estimate is moving thru the tank? I would also keep the SPS at the top and under the light. I also would get an ATO system. It makes life so much easier! And if you are keeping it cool enough with fans a chiller is very expensive. HTH

Get more corals! You obviously have a good amount of calcium. If your calcium levels are up then the coraline grows quickly. I too have to battle with it constantly but I have glass so it is much easier.

That is only half of it. The rest is in my fuge. The tangs completely ignore it. I hope it stays that way!

I would definitely put it on the bottom and move the sand around it. If you have any kind of snad sifting creatures you are asking for a landslide. If the rock is fully cured you shouldn't really get any spikes.
