It is not opening on 6/1. I can't say the date yet, but it has been picked and I will leak it as soon as possible.

This isn't correct. Opening day is not June 1. I know what day it is now, but I can't spill the beans yet. But if you show up on June 1 you're going to have a bad time.

Called fish gallery today and the austin store is suppose to open jun 1... Yeah!!!

It is crazy close. Things are going on shelves this week, work schedules are being made. Announcements are imminent.

Ok, I figured out what the contest for the two tickets will be.

One ticket for the nerdiest fish related shirt (or hat or whatever).

The other ticket will be a fish nerd story contest. Who ever has gone

to the most extreme in their fish nerdery wins. You tell your story and

we see who is the biggest fish nerd.

This is not a Fish Gallery "Drink Like a Fish" event, this is just me wanting to hang out with fish people. The next DLaF will be in April as soon as it is safe to have (tipsy) people inside the building. So no wide open tab at this one, though I will probably drunkenly buy a couple pitchers which I will regret Friday morning.

I was just trying to give you a hard time. Last night was a little different since Sarah couldn't make it. We had a combo of Andrew needing to get home (his card) and double the turnout. Sorry for surprising everyone, it was pretty much impossible to make announcements after the talk ended.

But yeah overall great shindig with lots of new people.

Once the store is open for real the conference/party room should be available for meet ups every day of the week.

You're making it sound lame, last night was great. People were there well past then, your beer clock needs recalibrating.

I'm going to try to get a keg if we do it at the store. Volume and rate of consumption will be the limiting factor.
