  1. I have a couple of things I held onto when I sold my last set-up, hoping I would use them again, but it does not look like that will happen anytime soon, so I want to sell.

Sybon Refractometer - $30 Like new, used only a few times, in box with all documentation, calibration fluid, etc...

    Details: http://www.premiumaq...REFRACT-HD.html

Red Sea Marine Lab Test Kit - $15 I think I used maybe 2-3 of the NH3/HN4 and NO3 tests, so I would say this has 95% of the tests remaining. All the instructions, tubes, caps etc.. are in the box.

    Details: http://www.amazon.co...t/dp/B001EUJOOS

    If you want both: $40

I work near 183 /McNeil and have them with me, so I can meet anywhere near here before 5:00ish, or anywhere on my way home (35 and Parmer area) after that.

    PM me if interested.

  2. For Sale: 28 Gallon Nano cube HQI with upgrades

For sale as a complete system (HW and livestock) right now. I will part it out later if it does not sell, so no dibs on any of the individual parts at this time.

    $400

    Hardware:

    - 28 gallon nano cube HQI

    - Nanotuners 2.18 actinic upgrade: (http://www.nanotuner...products_id=409)

Both HQI and Actinic bulbs are about 6 months old.

    - Eshopps PSK-75H skimmer (http://www.marineand..._p/rcg82855.htm) – Very slight modifications to skimmer and tank to make it work. I also have the original, unused nano cube skimmer.

    - Custom stand: This stand is very tall (I think 48"), so the tank is at eye level. Stand is very strong, and well made. Has extra room at the back for the eshopps skimmer and all cords.

    - 2 Hydor Koralia Nanos, with Hooked up to JBJ wavemaker.

    - JBJ ATO with Aqualifter pump and 5 gallon water container.

    - JBJ Seabreeze Fan (http://www.nanotuner...products_id=586)

    - Titanium grounding probe.

    - Digital thermometer

    - All the timers, powerstrips, etc…

    Livestock:

    - Picasso Clown with Green BTA

    - Lubbocks Fairy Wrasse

    - Firefish

    - Yellow Sleeper Goby

    - About 5 colonies of acans, between 3-6 heads each

    - Lots of misc zoas

    - About 30 pounds of live rock. Nice with good coralline.

    - Kenya tree coral

    - One big rock with tons of yellow star polyps

    - Pagoda Coral

    - Snails, crabs, peps, etc…

I may be able to help with tear down, move and setup if needed. I live near 35 and Parmer.

I love this tank, and am going to miss it. Just too much travel for work.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

  3. I'll take number 4, can pick up tonight.

Ooops, I just realized how big this actually is. No way I can fit a 8" X 6" piece in my tank right now. Sorry.....

  4. I have 4 small Koi in a 10 gallon tank free to a good home. 2 are just normal Koi/goldfish, 2 are Shubunkin's. I had these guys in a small pond before moving to Texas, and hauled them down here in a 5 gallon bucket over 3 days and 2 snowstorms, so they are very hearty! The tank is just the 10 gallon starter set you can buy from Petco with top and small whisper filer, rocks and gravel. Needs some bulbs though. Tank is very clean, and I think I have a few extra filter cartridges. They would be great if you have a pond for them. A few (not so good) pics:

I live near 35/Parmer. Let me know if your interested. Will need to bring a bucket.

If you want to trade a small frag or 2 of any LPS, softie or zoa, that would be cool, otherwise just take them and give them a good home.

    Thanks,

    JP

  5. Make a fish trap. Simple one: cut the top off a 20oz soda bottle, invert the top and glue it back into place with a little superglue. Fill it up with tank water, put some food in it, then place the trap near the liverock where he lives. He will go in for the food, and not be able to get out. If you have enough room, a 2-liter bottle will also work.

  6. I have an RO/DI system for my 28G nano. Besides using for the tank, I never need to buy bottled drinking water. (Just make sure you get a RO bypass if using RO/DI, that way you have plain RO water for drinking.)
