  1. How about this: http://www.austinreefclub.com/topic/15664-for-sale-28-gallon-nano-cube-hqi-with-upgrades/ :-)
  2. Put the Mysis in the bottle anyway, it will float up to the top of the bottle, but the Goby will know its in there. Chances are even with no food, he is going to check it out anyway...
  3. Irssix can obviously type faster type than me.
  4. Make a fish trap. Simple one: cut the top off a 20oz soda bottle, invert the top and glue it back into place with a little superglue. Fill it up with tank water, put some food in it, then place the trap near the liverock where he lives. He will go in for the food, and not be able to get out. If you have enough room, a 2-liter bottle will also work.
  5. I was out on the cape when one was spotted there last year. I did not go in the water....
  6. It should be able to pull up 30", and push out 30". As long as I keep the pump in the middle (and I have a shelf there), it should work.
  7. Thanks for all the advice. It looks like the aqualifter is the way to go. I have never been down to Aquadome, but looks like I have a reason to now.
  8. Thanks. Anyone know if the aqualifter is available locally? I just checked at RCA and they do not have it.
  9. I need a pump/powerhead recommendation for an ATO on a small (28G) nano tank. I am looking for something that has a very small flow (almost a trickle) at about 5' of head. Anyone have experience running a MJ400,600,900 at about 5' of head? How about a Quite One 800?
  10. Check it out at exactly 2:30, it looks like the clown is singing along to the music. :-)
  11. I have a dual TDS meter hooked up to my RO/DI; however I run one on the RO and one on the DI (not too interested in what the TDS is coming into the system). I get 3-4 out of the RO and 0 out of the DI.
  12. I plan to attend, and will bring $10 for a Premium Membership Card.
  13. Thanks for the warm welcomes. I got the RO/DI installed last night, just need to get the stand built, then will be ready to get water in the tank.
  14. Hello ARC, I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself before officially joining the club (what's the procedure for that?). I recently moved to Austin (near 35 and Parmer) after spending the last few years near Boston. Before that I lived in Hong Kong and China for a few years. I started my reefing long before the last 2 moves when I was up in the Twin Cities area. My last 2 reef tanks were 90 gallons and 240 gallons. This time, I will be starting a little bit smaller. Here is what I have going on and planned: I bought the new-in-box JBJ Nanocube 28 HQI from Christan14 a few weeks ago. - Ordered a new ballast and 2.18 factory lighting upgrade from nanotuners ( http://www.nanotuner...products_id=409 ), I should get this in a few days. - Ordered an new RO/DI from The Filter Guys ( http://www.thefilterguys.biz ). Should arrive today. - Bought a new Eshopps PSK-75H skimmer, which arrived last week. - Will be staring to build the stand this weekend. If anyone is interested I will start a build thread when I get going on the stand. Look forward to meeting you all soon. JP (The_Colonel)
