Great stuff, thanks for putting this together!

I've got a number of these running on all kinds of things including my tank (I also run a chiller during the warmer months)

It's weird because Amazon had these as prime all day for $18.99. It is the exact same fan as the Tunze: http://www.marinedepot.com/Tunze_Aquawind_Aquarium_Fan_Cooling_Fans_for_Aquarium_Lighting-Tunze-TZ8611-FILTACAF-vi.html ... perhaps they are discontinued.
I paid for the Tunze a few years ago and they are literally the same thing, the Tunze fan even has the PacificBreeze branding.

I've also used waste away and never noticed any improvements with nuisance algae or cyanobacteria. I think Dr. Tim has a different product for the cyano but I could be mistaken. Chemiclean works every time I've tried it.

I was toying with going LED on my heavy SPS reef recently but my thoughts mirror JeeperTy's exactly. I've since ordered new bulbs (MH) and will give it another year to see what happens.
At this point I'm still not willing to be an early adopter of the technology (it is still early) given the fact that my tank is thriving under MH.

Just have a stock Bio Cube, no sump. That 9002 looks really nice, would be nice if someone had one laying around ?

Let me know what you have. Looking for a needle wheel skimmer, I've got the oceanic one that is junk.

UPDATE:
Several of you have PM’d stating that you cannot pick up the corals because of work. I understand that you are working as I am too . Also understand that the frags are fine for 24hrs+ as long as they are kept at room temperature. Set the frag(s) on your desk after you meet me and stick it in your tank when you get home! Pick up must be during the week.

I could use something small like this on my half circle to light the ends of the display. Keep us posted on your plans for this!

I dose BRS two part via a aquamedic dosing pump. The aquamedic is autonomous which is nice because I can tweak my dosage quickly and easily. There are cheaper solutions out there, especially if you have a controller (BRS dosing pump is one option). The 2 part solution is pretty cheap, I'll go through the half gallon containers about once a year on my 76 that is heavily stocked (SPS/LPS/Clams). The aquamedic was around 300 for the twin, I think there may be other dosers out there that may be a bit cheaper, not sure.
I dose MG manually whenever I get around to testing for it

Maybe a different approach could be to plumb in a sprinkler timer before your RO unit. You could figure out how much time it takes to fill your waste water container.

I've had a Mystery too, my only complaint with him was that he always wound up in my overflow (jumper) so I returned him. Really cool fish though.

How about a coris wrasse (Halichoeres chrysus)? I've got a yellow one and he is a model citizen of the tank, also have a six line. I've never had any issues with either of these fish.

I thought my sea hare was toast last night so I started poking it with a pencil eraser to see if it would move. It proceeded to ink me with purple ink. I've got my reactor full of a fresh batch of carbon since this happened. Anyone ever had this happen before? Any harm to livestock?

I don't see anywhere to add a comment to the link you provided Mike, they all say Comment Period Closed.

Is this the v1 or v2 model?

Looks like diatoms to me. Get a couple, maybe 3 fighting conch snails.

If any of you find some that like teal paly's let me know. I'll take the lot!

I think your best bet is trying to find a fixture that is as full spectrum as possible starting with the violet wave length. There are not many out there that I've been able to find that are affordable, over time prices will come down.

I have the 100 which is 6.5", so the 50 must be smaller than that.
