  1. I've got a number of these running on all kinds of things including my tank (I also run a chiller during the warmer months)

It's weird because Amazon had these as prime all day for $18.99. It is the exact same fan as the Tunze: http://www.marinedepot.com/Tunze_Aquawind_Aquarium_Fan_Cooling_Fans_for_Aquarium_Lighting-Tunze-TZ8611-FILTACAF-vi.html ... perhaps they are discontinued.

I paid for the Tunze a few years ago and they are literally the same thing, the Tunze fan even has the PacificBreeze branding.

  2. I was toying with going LED on my heavy SPS reef recently but my thoughts mirror JeeperTy's exactly. I've since ordered new bulbs (MH) and will give it another year to see what happens.

At this point I'm still not willing to be an early adopter of the technology (it is still early) given the fact that my tank is thriving under MH.

  3. I've recieved a *ton* of PM's for the frag pack. If you PM'd me I will get you your pack in the order I received the PM. I'll let everyone know tomorrow. They are all gone, I've updated the listing.

BBMarlin Super Frag Pack (while supplies last) : 1 Baby Blue Pulchra, 1 Green Slimer, 1 Northern lights Nasuta, 1 Yellow Milli $40.00

Most frags are over 2 inches and many are over 3+ inches with multiple branches.

Pickup is Bee Caves/Cuernavaca Monday – Friday 8AM – 4PM. (I have the frags in my tank at work)

    thanks for looking!

    UPDATE:

Several of you have PM’d stating that you cannot pick up the corals because of work. I understand that you are working as I am too smile.png. Also understand that the frags are fine for 24hrs+ as long as they are kept at room temperature. Set the frag(s) on your desk after you meet me and stick it in your tank when you get home! Pick up must be during the week.

  5. I dose BRS two part via a aquamedic dosing pump. The aquamedic is autonomous which is nice because I can tweak my dosage quickly and easily. There are cheaper solutions out there, especially if you have a controller (BRS dosing pump is one option). The 2 part solution is pretty cheap, I'll go through the half gallon containers about once a year on my 76 that is heavily stocked (SPS/LPS/Clams). The aquamedic was around 300 for the twin, I think there may be other dosers out there that may be a bit cheaper, not sure.

I dose MG manually whenever I get around to testing for it :)

  6. I thought my sea hare was toast last night so I started poking it with a pencil eraser to see if it would move. It proceeded to ink me with purple ink. I've got my reactor full of a fresh batch of carbon since this happened. Anyone ever had this happen before? Any harm to livestock?
