I have a 120 with stand that we drained last weekend. We resealed it 2.5 years ago when we got it. I will try try to get pics tonight if interested.

Did they grow up together? I have a 9 inch adult but have never tried to introduce others. He's got the bottom of the tank full of tunnels.

So one has molted and they are eating happily on their star. The female still has eggs inside her belly and hasn't released them yet. Its really neat yto see them out in the open.

My clown has no idea about anemones either. I bought a much smaller one than her hoping she would pair up and she did but only wants to host a patch of caulerpa or hair algae. So no more anemones for me lol

Ok, these are shots from this morning, and then after work, after a fast trip to the Dome. Thank you Gary for letting K pick out his own Star. It made his day after being sick all week.

After collaborating with my team, figured it would be easiest to put the star in the net, then let them come in, and bag them from there. Well, the male was hesitant to let her come near and went into the net first. Into the bag he went. Try again. Walked out for a smoke while waiting and the female had snatched it and pulled it to the middle of the tank. Yanked a boulder of GSP away since it's supposed to grow back.... lol and was able to walk my fingers to her enough to get her to back out. The only thing is they aren't scared of us anymore. The male had hopped a ride on my finger while K held the bag in the water. Once the female had found the whole star in the net, as opposed to the one piece of another it had been eating on,she made it to the bag and acclimated them for about 45 min. As soon as they hit the water, I put the chunk-O-star left over from the evil starfish eating starfish, into the cave I made for them, but they quickly found the new mollies and started getting active and moved about the tank. I moved the mollies to another tank to be mentioned later. That's the tank with the Yellow Tang we have the adoption paperwork for from Petsmart. Emaciated and hadn't eaten in 3 months. ( She is fine now )They found a new cave but have settled for now. Thank you Gary, Terry and Hunter for letting me dance around in joy for my favorite babies and my naive happiness in finding two species that love each other. (at least two color variations ). I them.

Now I have an new excuse to set up a separate culture of pods, and need to do it soon. I have to gather equipement to see what I'm missing. I may miss this clutch, but will learn by the next.

Oh gosh. Its been a while since I've been around due to a new job.

Last night I saw what I always thought was my female harly very fat and her belly round. She's carrying eggs! Im thinking tonight I'll lure the pair out with starfish then move them to the frag tank to let them continue. Any other ideas or help?

I have about a third of a bottle of Formalin 3 left that you are welcome to. It should get you going long enough until you can get some online. I am in South Austin but will be home tonight and tomorrow. Just let me know.

I didn't dip anything yet. All the new stuff is in the frag tank set up for just this. I'm a bit new to dipping. (don't hate please) I love seeing new creatures but this guy just freaks me out. He's still alive in his container, as I keep changing his water. He curled around a pellet I threw in and after looking at him, my husband said " your bug's dead". Nope, not even. He was swimming around after a poke with the toothpick. If he's good, I have no problem letting him enter his home, but he just looks so evil. He just creeps me out.

Found this little guy in some coral I got;. He's in isolation right now until I figure out what he is. Any ideas? I noticed that the larger end has pinchers, but the smaller end has the face.

It's just too finicky an eater but I must have one. I would prefer to buy one that is eating froze food since I scrapped my mini fuge project.

Mike at the Dome said that he watched all but one eat frozen. He's going to take that one home to fatten up in the fuge, but all the others should be good. I've been watching mine down frozen mysis and cyclopeeze, and I'm feeding twice a day to make sure for now. I've got my scooter eating both too now, and they still get the live brine from the Dome too whenever I get up there, and when they have some in. The mandarins I looked at yesterday were nice and plump. (nudge nudge)

NICE! Awesome bubble corals.

Thank you. The three larger ones in the cluster were "rescues". I didn't have much hope for them, but my husband's persistence and pestering me paid off. I really like what Biofuel has done to our corals. They seem like their are on steroids lol. Over the few weeks they went from stringy, nasty globs to actual bubbles. We just got another, and I still have my doubts about it, but we will see. That one is the smaller skeleton in front of the recovering meat coral. It hasn't lost any flesh still, and seems to be developing a small bubble inside one of the folds. I really like them though. I found a new favorite coral.

Got some more shots last night before I pulled the torch out. Now there is a huge gap where it was. Hmm.. Scaping time!

Found out the the Dragonet is not ORA, but eats like a champ.

Is that an ORA dragonet you have there?

I'm not sure honestly, I forgot to ask Gary at AquaDome. He's eating both frozen and live when I offer it, so I was thrilled. Other wise he's picking pods off the wall and rocks. He's larger than I usually see though, and very fat.

My friend let me borrow his camera so I have been messing around trying to take some shots of my wet world. I really like the way it captures the brightness of my misbar clown. I picked up another misbar yesterday at the Dome but didn't want bother him while getting used to everything in his new home. the colors between the two are amazing. I will get some more pics up but heres some of the biocube and a couple from some freshwater tanks. Thanks for looking!

My personal favorite is AquaDome. I just ask because you said you went to your "first real saltwater fish store". How is this skimmer working out as the fuge? That is a pretty neat idea. I got a bottle of the Tigger Pods too and put them into a modded fuge, so now i wait.. Have you noticed any new pods?

Welcome! Have you discovered the rest of the "real" stores? I have a seaclone too, and ended up replacing the airline tube with silicone tubing so it was easier to tie into a knot. I pull out a lot more this way. It fills up about 1/2 way in about 5-7 days.

Everything still available. Will also consider trades for LPS.
