I should let you borrow our weenie dog. Fastest little rat catcher ever. I watched her swallow a field mouse whole like a snake lol

If I had something to trade, I totally would.

Hey its worth a shot. I would say yes if I had a kid It's like a living mobile... kinda

I will go ahead and cave. Can I get it this weekend? I'm picking up an urchin out that way so that would work perfectly.

Workforce operations analyst at AT&T. Though with my husband losing his full time job due to the wonderful economy (custom home trim carpenter), makes funding less available, so when I have the extra cash, I splurge on good deals like I did today

I actually found a little brittle star like the first picture!! I was doing the normal thing and staring at my tank. We picked up a few little frags of things (reminder, not good with the names) and when moving stuff around, I saw this tiny little arm, so I stopped and watched and 2 more arms came out. Maybe more will come

that would be a nice little set up in the future. I just am wanting some little stars to creep around the tank. I just have algae growing, nothing else. What would be a good star to keep then? I have played with the idea of adding mushrooms and such, but with the cowfish, I'm limited at the moment. Or does anyone know of cowfish-proof corals, or mushrooms etc?

I actually just saw my first Harlequins this past weekend. I was staring at them so hard trying to figure out what they were, then they moved, and I was just ecstatic. I know my may hurt them, so they would need their own set up.... hm...

Just wanting a few starfish that people consider the pesky kind. Only have live rock in this tank for now, so nothing for it to destroy. Thank you

It's a Zoo Med RL-18 Reef Sun 50/50 15 watt. I have pretty much everything the owner ever bought for this, and the equipment is all fairly new. It's been set up for 4 years, and I have every test reading she did in a notebook. The smaller tank also has a 50/50 bulb, though I don't know the brand, but its also a 15 watt.

I found a heck of a deal on Craigslist a few days ago, and snagged a 20 gallon full set up for $50. I can't even tell you how many extras came with it. I am just in love with this tank. We had a 5 gallon, that was temporary until we had the time to convert our 20 long into salt. Well, now I don't have to covert anything, and my new little rescue puffer can stay there in his new home lol. So I moved my little clown and my Cow into the 20 with the Tomato that came with the tank, and everyone is doing wonderful and the clowns are playing together. I want to make changes to this tank, as far as scaping it nicely. We just lost all the anemones, and polyps and mushrooms we had in the 5 gallon, due to an emergency trip out of town, so both tanks need some help.
In the 20 we have a Cowfish, a clown, and a tomato clown. (and a ton of baby snails with a weird shell.)
In the 5 we have a peppermint shrimp, a mini conch snail, and one little purple thing (looks like a purple kenya tree) that survived.
My question, what anemone would make the clowns happy? I had a really nice one going before the crash, and I want to make sure everyone gets a good spot to call home.

thats really good to know. I found a tiny white clam burrowed into a rock that I picked up, and I thought he was stuck so I wiggled him out and put him in the sand. Next day he moved back there. He's so tiny, about the size of pinky nail.

When you say "jump off" it gives me a funny image in my head, but my question: Will they get hurt by doing that?

Hi everyone. Just found this site and am SO happy to have an Austin site to visit. I have had my sw set up for about 3 months now, and am loving it. Having to start over with everything except my fish now. A crab destroyed all my polyps, mushrooms and sponge. He's long gone Also just lost both of my neat anemones after I had to make an emergency out of town visit for family. Left the light on for 2 1/2 days. Anyhow I look forward to exploring this site and meeting new people.

I am looking to trade my Tomato clown for another clown. I have two little ones that are happily dancing around and this guy doesn't like seeing them happy looking to trade for any of the following, Black, Clarkii, Ocellaris, Percula (true or false), saddleback
Thank you!
Other fish trades also welcome. (must be able to live happy in 40 gallon for at least a year)
