My auto-top off notified me that summer is here. Instead of going through 5 gallons every two days, it burned though 5 gallons in half a day.
Get your top offs and RO ready folks.

I updated the prices and marked the skimmer sold.

Can't now. I flushed it. It did not have any tentacles left and the foot had a giant cut in it. All the LTAs I have had in the past have not recovered from a torn foot.
-
The foot had a giant slit in it and the insides were hanging out. I don't think it was going to make it. :-(
-
I'm so bummed. I woke up this morning to find my massive long tentacle anemone stuck in my power head.
I hate when I lose an anemone. :-(

Skimmer is sold.

It's 96 x 30 x 30.
Very nice! What are the dimensions? Glwb!
-
Yep, it is a Vlamingii Tang. He's still little.
Looks awesome. Is that a vlangi tang?
-
Thanks. Haha, I have 5 in there. 4 bubbles and 1 long tentacle. The long tentacle is pretty big. I'll take some livestock photos once I get the rockscaping done.
-
PS: I just finished installing the new sump and skimmer today. My old sump and skimmer are in the picture above.

Vlamingii Tangs are cool. Orange Shoulders are fun too. I have both and they are super docile.
-
Sweet. 4 should be enough hopefully. Can I pick them up from you this week? Monday or Tuesday after 5:00 pm.

I am getting a 375 gallon tank delivered on the 4th of April. I need six to eight glass mover suction cups and a 75+ gallon tub.
Does anyone have one or both of these items that I can borrow?
-
It is like it nukes diatoms. Haha.

Over the past few days I have been looking at my tank thinking, "something is different". It just dawned on me this morning that I just changed the media in my GFO/Carbon reactor a few days ago and put a better pump on it. My water is crystal clear.
I love the happy effects of swapping out spent media for new media.

I've kept one before. Live brine will be your best friend for a while. After a while mine accepted frozen brine and mysid, even pellets.
-
They look like green tea cup palys to me. I have some similar ones that are slightly brown.
-
Hmm they are just around some sinularias. There is no LPS by them.
-
Does anyone know if Xenia will choke out other softies?
-
Very nice! I love anemone colonies. I'm working on one in my tank.

I'm not sure what the model number is. It is a Precision Marine sump that is 30x14x14. It had an extra baffle in it but I took it out because I couldn't fit an internal skimmer into it with it there.
Here is a picture. It is a little cloudy but a vinegar soak will take care of that.
