  1. Will PM you for a pick up time this weekend. Thanks! Alex
  2. Welcome Christian. I also have a Nano Cube but even smaller than yours. Mine is only a 12 gallon and aquascaping is always a challenge.
  3. Can you list what is left? I'm interested in the zoas if any are left.
  4. That's good to know because I see a lot of them. Thanks!
  5. So I see what looks to be spionid worms all over my sand bed and on some of my rocks. They usually have two clear tentacles coming out of the sand or rocks. They come out even more during feeding time. I believe they are spionid worms because they seems to form a tube out of sand and has the two clear tentacles extending from it. My questions is, do I need to worry about them?
  6. Interested in Orange/Pink Ric. PM sent.
  7. Thanks! Good to know there are lots of reefers around the area!
  8. Good to meet you last night Ryan and thanks for the dragon eyes, mushroom and monti cap frag. Will definitely get more from you once I make some room in the tank.
  9. Got some colt corals if you want some.
  10. Thanks zarathustra2 and mama for the chaeto offer. I saw a post this morning from muddybluewater and am going to meet him this afternoon to get a handful. I'm at 183/Duval and am glad to see there are a few of you close to me.
  11. Hi everyone. My name is Alex. After reading posts on this site for a few months now, I've decided to join. I wished I had found this site years ago when I first started my first SW tank. I am not a newbie to saltwater tank but am a little new to reef tank. I had a 70G SW tank with mainly fishes and some LPS back in 2001. After getting married and moving to a new house in 2004, I had to get rid of the tank. My wife thought it was too loud. Anyways, fast forward a few years and I was able to convince her to let me set up a smaller tank so I can show our son the joy of having a SW tank. I got a used Nano Cube 12G on craigslist last October. It came with one clownfish, a clam and colt corals and GSP that is taking over the tank. It only has a 40W PC light so I'm surprise the clam is still alive. The tank is doing well but the GSP and colt corals are taking over the tank. I'm planning on making some upgrades/changes to the tank and look forward to reading the posts on this site for some ideas and advice. Here are some of the changes coming soon: 1) Upgrade lighting 2) Convert one chamber in the back to a refugium (hopefully someone can provide some chaeto to start) 3) Trade or give away colt corals to fellow reefer to make room for some mushrooms and zoas Thanks for reading and I hope to meet some of you soon.
