what kind and how much is a box going to run me?

just let me know what you want or what your price is. of course i wont be able to get them until the end of october unless you could maybe provide a foster home for them?

found this about the mangrove seeds its a quote from an article about why it's apparently better to get unsprouted seedlings.. "One thing is certain, though- you cannot move a mangrove between saline gradients quickly if at all! Aquarists are strongly advised to only seek un-sprouted seedlings. If there are any roots or leaves in evidence on arrival, you simply must be told what salinity the propagules were sprouted in. Failure to abide by this is likely to be fatal for the seedling, evidenced by a shriveled desiccation and demise within weeks (the propagule takes on a wrinkled appearance from the "osmotic shock"). ok it is official. I will be moving to the austin area in the middle to end of oct. i have been offered a postion with Austin Travis County EMS as a paramedic. Soooo much to do. i havent even started looking for a place to live. we have found a few places in pfleugerville (sp??) for some good prices. i have heard alot about places to look and stuff but cant seem to decide on any area in particular to live. anyway if anyone has any ideas we are looking for a 3-4 bedroom (new baby and sister-in-law with us) house with 2-3 bathrooms yard (three dogs) etc. ---to RENT--- our credit sucks but that is a different story. plus i dont want to get down there and then find that i dont want to stay where we are if i find an area i like better. anyway i am excited to be moving down ready to start this new chapter in our lives. any and all advice will be appreciated. thanks

Yes i would be interested could you send me a pic. there is only one problem at the moment, and that is that i am not currently in the austin area.

im not looking for rare zoo's im just looking for any zoo's at all, i have some yellow/orange/yellow and some brown ones. anyway they are my fav's so im looking for more.

vihn since you are a member you can see them. if you look when you are logged out you cant. anyway my dad came over with his DSLR last night and took some really cool pics i'll get them posted when i get them from him.

ok so my dad is here taking pictures and we turned the lights out to take a few pics that way. well while holding a flashlight to the tank to look at things we noticed these little worm looking things. some were red some were blue. they were maybe 1-2mm long i guess 1/16th of an inch. there were a bunch of them all swimming around, they were attracted to the light. i have not ever noticed them before. when we turned the lights back on the fish chowed down on them I got a few out of the tank with the brine shrimp net, and they were deffinitly worms. they were crawling on the net. i would hate to have them if they are bad. they look and swim just like these things http://www.melevsreef.com/video/afterdark.wmv someone please help will load pics later thanks

vinh, looks like we are in the same boat, are you also in the DFWMAS? i feel strange saying welcome because my post count here is 2 but welcome. i haven't moved down there yet but it is a likely probability that i will move down in october. are you still in dallas area?

apparantly you do because i logged out and looked at it and it didn't have a any pics. so ill have to take some new pics tonight, need to do that anyway.

Howdy, Im Rob and im a reefer (well i try). there is a chance i may be moving to austin for a new job. so i thought i would hang out here and see what your guys are about. I am new to SW my first and only tank is a 24G JBJ Nano 20lbs LR, 20lbs LS, the list of inhabitants are as follows: Longnosed Hawkfish, Lawnmower Blenny, 5 Green Chromis, small yollow/orange zoo rock, feather duster, GBTA (not too green, not too bubbly), sun coral, Birds Nest, Xenia elongata, sand sifting starfish,a really cool red starfish that is only an inch full size, Green ricordia with 3 mouths, GSP, some kind of SPS, Kenya tree, 2 pink frilly mushrooms. and a cleanup crew of 3 snails (cant remember the kind) and multiple blueleg hermits I have a 55g that we will hopefully be setting up after the move, i want to set it up now but my wife (the level headed one) has convinced me to wait until aftre the move. I have applied to Austin-Travis County EMS, gone through the hiring process and just have to wait my 2 weeks to find out if i got the job. so we will see. i have been a club and Forum member of DFWMAS here since may of this year. enjoy the meetings and such, and im looking to learn as much as possible. anyway that is me in a nutshell.
