  1. I'm not too sure about the lights but I've always been told that anemones are a big no no with seahorses. Pretty much you don't want anything in your tank that the seahorse can aimlessly land on that would be dangerous to them. They are poor swimmers and "hitch" to just about anything. You also want low flow and to make sure that whatever intakes you have are covered so that the seahorse won't be in danger of getting stuck.

  2. I've had the rock for about a month, maybe a little less. I got it from AquaDome from one of their newer shipments. Also they are flat against the rock. The one on top is actually flat against a part of rock that is curving up its not a soft base...if that makes sense

  3. So I just noticed this coming out on the rock with my pinks. They are tinie tiny but I tried to get a pic anyway. I really need a macro lens. Anyway if you can tell what it is from the photos I'm really curious. They have a ring of tentacles and the inside looks to be white and open. It's hard to see from the location they are in. If you click the pictures the image gets much bigger so you can see better

p.s. ignore the file name its not for sale. haha

  4. These were all used on a 180gal. The skimmer should definitely be fine for the tank. I am selling this for my mother though. I have a 29gal and don't use an overflow so I'm not sure if its possible that this is too large?? Maybe other reefers who have bigger systems would know. The magfloat should be fine though

  5. I have a box full with two skimmers one is a Coralife Super Skimmer 125 and the other I'm not sure of but its big. Both skimmers have pumps one is a mag 5 and the other came with the Coralife Skimmer. There is also an overflow, tons of fittings and tubing and a large MagFloat glass scrubber. Asking $100. The skimmer sells for over $175 new. Let me know if you're interested.

  6. I recently added a green clown goby to my tank and I'm afraid he isn't eating enough. He isn't wasting away but I'm worried that he will start to. He is very skiddish and hides all of the time. He does like to eat but refuses to move anywhere but his hiding place to eat anything. I have tried targeted feeding and he gets completely petrified and just lets all of the food float past him until I leave then he flees as fast as he can to a new hiding place. Is there anything I can do? Should I worry? He gets food but it doesn't seem like it's enough to sustain him.

  7. That's the desired look. They are 31w each ho t5s. I still have a lot of research to do before I buy one. I was just curious if they would even be at all compatible with my system first. I really appreciate the advice.

  8. So I'm still new to the reef. I have a 29gal tank with a few softies and basically wanted to know if it would be possible to keep a monti in such a small tank. I love the way they look but I know a 29 gal is very limiting.

  9. Ok I won't be able to make the meeting so I can pick it up after (5:20) depending on how long the meeting is I live right down the road or since I don't want you to have to carry them around I can get them later in N.A. from you if that's ok
