How many $10 acan frags do you have?
-
Ill take the zoa rock. Let me know when to get it. I was too slow when brooks sold it haha
-
I actually sold both skimmers yesterday and the overflow is pending with keeperofthezoo as is the magfloat
-
I've had the rock for about a month, maybe a little less. I got it from AquaDome from one of their newer shipments. Also they are flat against the rock. The one on top is actually flat against a part of rock that is curving up its not a soft base...if that makes sense

So I just noticed this coming out on the rock with my pinks. They are tinie tiny but I tried to get a pic anyway. I really need a macro lens. Anyway if you can tell what it is from the photos I'm really curious. They have a ring of tentacles and the inside looks to be white and open. It's hard to see from the location they are in. If you click the pictures the image gets much bigger so you can see better
p.s. ignore the file name its not for sale. haha

Ok ill have it ready for you then. Thanks.

Yes if you do want it. I had msgd you and thought you were to come today but never heard back. I mentioned above that it might already be taken. Would you maybe like to meet somewhere in between?
-
These were all used on a 180gal. The skimmer should definitely be fine for the tank. I am selling this for my mother though. I have a 29gal and don't use an overflow so I'm not sure if its possible that this is too large?? Maybe other reefers who have bigger systems would know. The magfloat should be fine though
-
Ok how about $50 for the coralife skimmer. $10 for the other one, $20 for the overflow and the magfloat for $5 ??? The overflow might be taken not sure.
-
I have a box full with two skimmers one is a Coralife Super Skimmer 125 and the other I'm not sure of but its big. Both skimmers have pumps one is a mag 5 and the other came with the Coralife Skimmer. There is also an overflow, tons of fittings and tubing and a large MagFloat glass scrubber. Asking $100. The skimmer sells for over $175 new. Let me know if you're interested.

Yeah he gets really excited about the food just not enough to venture out and get it. Ill just keep a good eye on him and hopefully it will all work out. Thanks!
-
He's been here for about two weeks maybe a little less. That's reassuring. I feed cyclopeeze and sometimes mysis and I see him actually go for the food maybe five to eight times per feeding session.

I recently added a green clown goby to my tank and I'm afraid he isn't eating enough. He isn't wasting away but I'm worried that he will start to. He is very skiddish and hides all of the time. He does like to eat but refuses to move anywhere but his hiding place to eat anything. I have tried targeted feeding and he gets completely petrified and just lets all of the food float past him until I leave then he flees as fast as he can to a new hiding place. Is there anything I can do? Should I worry? He gets food but it doesn't seem like it's enough to sustain him.

Are the blues 20 per polyp or for the rock?
-
That's the desired look. They are 31w each ho t5s. I still have a lot of research to do before I buy one. I was just curious if they would even be at all compatible with my system first. I really appreciate the advice.
-
Yeah I had thought about that too. I love the plate forming ones and was thinking of making it a corner piece but I'm just worried they would get too big.
-
I have a coralife t5 two bulb setup right now. I read that they don't really have to have mh lighting.
-
So I'm still new to the reef. I have a 29gal tank with a few softies and basically wanted to know if it would be possible to keep a monti in such a small tank. I love the way they look but I know a 29 gal is very limiting.

Double post sorry.

Are you still planning to be at the meeting? I can pick mine up before it starts but unfortunately I can't stay.
-
Ok I won't be able to make the meeting so I can pick it up after (5:20) depending on how long the meeting is I live right down the road or since I don't want you to have to carry them around I can get them later in N.A. from you if that's ok
-
I think ill get in on this:
5 zigzag periwinkles
1 nassarius vibex
1 fuzzy chiton
5 dwarf cerith
5 nerite snails (s-m)
1 chaeto
Total. $15.28
I'm in sw austin and won't be able to pick up until after five though. Is this ok?

Thanks again for the beautiful corals. Your tank is gorgeous and so healthy. They look really great in my tank and adjusted quick. Nice meeting you too.
sea horse information

I'm not too sure about the lights but I've always been told that anemones are a big no no with seahorses. Pretty much you don't want anything in your tank that the seahorse can aimlessly land on that would be dangerous to them. They are poor swimmers and "hitch" to just about anything. You also want low flow and to make sure that whatever intakes you have are covered so that the seahorse won't be in danger of getting stuck.
