i used to have a little hitchiker that acted like a fisherman. he would send out a long almost spiderweb like white string and catch food with it then slowly bring it back in. if he got his fill before he got it all the way in though he would cut the line and it would float away in the tank. it may be something like that.

So since I've had my tank all I've had in it are soft corals but I have a favia on its way and know that it has sweeper tentacles. So my question is exactly how far away from other corals am I supposed to keep it? How close can I get away with? I only have a 29 gallon tank.

OK so I found myself in New Braunfels Thursday and decided to just stop in a Polly's Pet Shop on a whim. Well I got myself a flasher wrasse but no one there could answer my question as to which kind or whether or not it was a male or female. So I'm hoping someone on here will know.

I'm not too sure about the lights but I've always been told that anemones are a big no no with seahorses. Pretty much you don't want anything in your tank that the seahorse can aimlessly land on that would be dangerous to them. They are poor swimmers and "hitch" to just about anything. You also want low flow and to make sure that whatever intakes you have are covered so that the seahorse won't be in danger of getting stuck.

Are the blues 20 per polyp or for the rock?
