  1. Thanks, but I don't think they're growing fast at all. I've had many issues with this tank over the last year that has really slowed the growth and color of the corals, especially the SPS. Now everything seems to be back on track and I hope to see positive results in the near future.
  2. Sure thing but you must take my wife too!
  3. I've never seen anything like these, I'm a lucky guy.
  4. Brooks back off the carbon dosing for a while or even cut it in half. I too have red slime from time to time and it's from dosing start2 which is the ZEOvit carbon source. I think I read in other post that you were dosing vodka (hopefuly just your tank) See what happens when you reduce the amount to half.
  5. Yeah, LED's are the shoot!
  6. Looking good Randy. Just curious why you are running UV?
  7. I like the Tropic Eden reef-flake. Used roughly 200lbs to set up my 200 and love it. It doesn't come live but it's easy to seed with live rock.
  8. If they have flat worms they are not the Acro Eating kind, but yes I dip every coral every time.
  9. Nope you didn't. This one came from his personal stash, he's had this coral in his system for over 7 years. It hasn't been colored up in his tank for a while, he let me try a piece to see what happens. It was brown when I first got it and it has turned out to be one of the nicest corals in my tank (chalices included) What makes this coral special to me is roughly ten people have owned a frag over the last decade and everyone has lost it due to tank crashes, etc, etc. I think Bruce even lost his piece a few weeks ago if I'm not mistaken. So far it's been a sloooow grower but well worth the wait. I promise I'll post pictures in the future. BTW I named it "Pink Menage" with Bruces permission. Clint
  10. I have in my tank one of the nicest sps corals I've seen in all my years of reefing. It has a bright pink base and body with baby blue tips and coralites. The polyps are green and long like a mili. I believe it's a Abrolhosensis which has similar polyp structure to a mili but grows like a stag. I'll try and post pictures later on but just wanted to share, as I'm very excited about this one!
  11. I have a big (.75x.75) two eye frag of the My Miami and yes it came from WWC. That coral is so 2009, time to move on Mark!
  12. Do you have a flamethrower? If so I'm buying
  13. didn't know that mcallahan was a barrel racer in high school.

  14. So you admit you don't have much to say? Some people like to hear themselves talk, you on the other hand like to see yourself type.
  15. How about having 4,158 post and not a single one with any importance??
  16. Hey BigBird isn't the sunset monti Orange? Hook'em
  17. I think they were upset when they saw your jacked up hair-do.
  18. I'm not so sure "Trash Talking" is a good here on ARC. We have a bunch of sissy men and sensitive women like mama who might get their little feelings hurt..
  19. Two other very important factors that impact coral growth is flow and water conditions.
  20. Yes Warner Marine is what I'm currently using.
  21. My tank consumes a ton of K but I also run ZEOvit stones which removes elements from the water. I notice a big difference the day after I dose K, especially with the blue and purple colors. As far as the test goes, the one I had was a piece of garbage. It always showed low even if I added K directly to the test solution.
