enzo1028
Hey everyone! I recently moved here from Chicago. I had a 120g SPS dominant tank up there. Unfortunately I am renting here and it took some convincing to let my landlord let me keep this 30 gallon in my residence. This build is being planned to be packed full of goodies. I have a friend in Atlanta holding a frag of almost all my SPS and other random corals(including my Sunburst Nem). I am planning on toning down on the SPS minus some select pieces(WD, WWC Hippie Juice, Tyree Merlin staff to name a few of my prized pieces). I will do a couple nems, some rarer zoas, a few montis, and maybe some LPS. As for fish, I already ordered a pair of Black Storm Clowns from Chicago that should be here after their Polar Vortex is done. I currently have a White Banded Possum Wrasse, a pair of Helfrichi Firefish, and I will also have some sort of Goby/Shrimp pair. As for equipment, here is the list: - IM Nuvo Fusion 30L- 2x Radion XR15’s- 2x MP10’s- Tunze Skimmer- Neotherm 150W Heater- Chaetomax Refugium Light- Smart ATO Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

enzo1028
This will be good! Your livestock selection will be incredible [emoji4] Thanks! I was very selective with the fish. I really wanted to make sure I have a cool population since I am limited on space. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sierra Bravo
Welcome! Hope you didn't make room to bring your snow shovel with you. I bet you aren't missing Chicago this week. 🙂 Great start and it looks like it will be a nice tank. Kudos to your friend for holding your corals - I hope they make the transition well and settle in for you.

enzo1028
Got a shipment from a friend today! 32 different corals! These mushrooms were named Clown Puke Bounces by a shop in Chicagoland called Reefwise. I haven't really seen them anywhere else, they get a nice variety of color. Interstellar Mushroom! Radion is set to AB+ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited February 8, 2019 by enzo1028
enzo1028
It’s been a busy week. I got my 2nd XR15 up finally and also purchased some more SPS and a nice rainbow acan from Aqua Dome.I did however have some casualties. I ordered some Black Storms from a buddy that owns a shop in Chicagoland. They made it to Fort Worth and were held an extra day there. Rip little guys. +KimP
Very nice! That's a great picture of the acans. Sucks about the fish though.

Thanks, just a normal top down under AB+ with an iPhone, surprisingly turned out ok!I feel bad for the fish, but unfortunately that happens with this hobby. We are waiting for a few clear days in weather and he is sending me a replacement pair.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

enzo1028
What kind of SPS did you get?...for us those of us who are stick freaks.Nothing too crazy while I’m starting the tank. Nicest one I have is BC Rainbows in Spain. Once we determine my tank is stable my friend will send me pieces of WD, Tyree Merlin Staff, Orange Passion, JKR Rainbow, BC Blue Matrix, RR Pink Tip, Tyree Pink Lemonade. He is holding all of those from my tank I just broke down back in Chicago.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

enzo1028
Man, that sucks about the storms [emoji20] . Good start to the tank. It’s unfortunate but it is what it is. I should have a replacement pair sent out next week. When there is some good weather in Chicago Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
diesel3443
That always happens, right? They held them due to the weather in Chicago, then they get stuck in Texas for too long. Hope the next shipment goes flawlessly for ya.
enzo1028
After a couple more shipping delays and some more dead clowns, I cancelled my order with the shop up in Chicago.I did however pick these up from Aquatek:Smaller is Black Storm, larger is Mocha StormSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
