LEW
I am absolutely fascinated by tunicates (sea squirts). Does anyone have any in their tank. What are you experiences? I have rarely seen them for sale. More often I have seen hitchhikers on good live rock and a few tanks where they were thriving. Does anyone know of anywhere in town that has some tank friendly species?
SoonerFan
Aquatek had a cool looking one (about the size of a huge pecan. It was white with yellow and blueish highlights - I believe), but that was last Friday when I saw it. Lee
LEW
I wish I could remember the name of that one. It is the most common tunicate to make its way into the trade.
stoneroller
I have colonial ascidians. "They" spread fairly slowly sticking pieces of rocks and frags together; nice stabilizer and water "filter". Sort of leathery yet slimy. Easy to peel off. Never seen them take over another animal/colony. Not colorful but sure are interesting. Reef safe? IDK. My 0.02.
