+Mitch
any idea what this is? possibly a tunicate? we had seen this developing for a little while now, but this morning i found one in the middle of my gsp (now removed). i had not realized it but it's been in my chaeto, but it only had an undefined sponge shape, not tubular like this, but now i have found a similar example. should i remove or let be? thanks in advance! teg
I have these in my tanks too, I dont know what they are though. I try to remove mine, since they seems to multiple fast, so I assumed it's bad. They have a texture almost like cotton ear swab.
muddybluewater
Looks like a sponge. I wouldn't worry about it

+Daniel
I have a lot of them in the darker, lower flow areas of my tank. As mentioned by others, it looks like a sponge.
