+Eckreef
Got my 40g Breeder setup and running. Finished putting in 40# of Caribsea select reef sand and dry rock from BRS. This rock is incredibly porous. I ordered 40# and was only able to get about 30# in. It came in some very large pieces that I had to break apart. Also have a nice piece of rock to start my corraline compliments of Shane at Fishy Business I think I still have too much rock. I like the right side as I have a nice flat surface for SPS. I am afraid that the left side is too high. Thoughts?
+mcallahan
the left side is pretty high, but some SPS want to be as close to the light as possible. Also, some grow in a more tabling fashion, so you might plan on having some tabling SPS there to make up for the lack of available vertical growth. JamesL
You could also put some zoas up on top, and they will exploded like wildfire I personally would take that right most rock, and put it in the middle (shifting the two smaller rocks to the right). I think it would look cool to have a sloping decline from left to right.
