Dhayden
OK tons of questions on my new plans. Going for 40-50x in a 50gal 30x22x20. I added up the cost of making a closed loop, 5-t manifold, plump the whole thing, and it is about what a Stream 6000 and a controller would run. It would be a lot cleaner with the stream, but I dont know if i have ever seen a tank with just one. No way I could afford 2, but I could put in a sieo or something to stir it up a little. I wonder if anyone in town is running a tank with just 1-stream, controlled..?
thedude
I've setup several tanks with only one stream and it works fine. Might I suggest a controllable stream on one side and possibly 1 or 2 maxijet 1200's with the hydor flo attachment. We recently installed a Tunze 6100 with two of the above maxijet 1200's with flos and I've been very impressed with the result. jroescher
When you look at manifolds, be sure to consider all the loss in head pressure with all the bends and elbows. And figure in head pressure for the distance your lifting water also.
