Is thir such a thing as to much rock? i have a 42 gal and i had to redo my aquascaping yesterday due to an annoying little pistol shrimp, anyway. i had also went by epic reef yesterday and picked up a couple peices from dave over their, and i saw a couple peices i couldnt live w/o so i decited to add these to my tank too. well my 42g is mostly all rock now. can their be to much?

i have a 92 gallon corner tank and have upwards of 200 lbs in it.i have had it up almost a year and never had a problem.went from having a nitrate problem to untraceable nitrates.i think all the rock helps with that as well.

I might be partial but I think it looks pretty good.

Too much rock is when your fish can't swim anymore :)

More rock = more surface area = more places for critters to grow and hide.

The question becomes, water flow, and aesthetics... Add powerheads or re-arrange until you are happy with the layout.
