Composition is great. Need a little work on the exposure. Do you have a tripod?

Might want to download Gimp or another free photoshopish program. This will really help for post production.

Just a few clicks in photoshop:

The photos seems to be underexposed. A longer exposure would lighten the photo up. Using the tripod with the camera's timer may allow for a longer exposure. What model camera do you have?

its a canon a590is.i think i know what i need to change for exposure.it is a +/- button.it has a scale from like -2 to 2 or something.when i go up with the numbers it gets brighter.i think the setting is called exposure compensation???

Same here...I can't figure out how to zoom in in GIMP so my image is really close...

i have gimp.i need to learn how to crop a pic and make it the right size.rather than just cutting out the subject and then having a tiny picture of it.i have a junk tripod.how do i work on exposure?
