Reybeast Posted June 16, 2009 Share Posted June 16, 2009 I'm curious about cheato, I've got some in my sump, and it does well, but I've gotten into the habit of stirring/moving it a bit once or twice a month. Does anyone else do this? I also wonder if the cheato should be thinned out ie: give some out on occassion to stimulate its growth. thoughts? Robb in Austin Posted June 16, 2009 Share Posted June 16, 2009 Yes to clipping. You have to remove, or 'export', some to remove the bad nutrients out of the system.
