Rjohn
It seems I aways have medium to high nitrates no matter what I do. So I keep searching for something that will help. I found a link to building a DIY Sulphur Denitrator. From what I read, it seemed to remove nitrates rapidly. Has anyone had any experience with this? It seems to be very similar to a calcium or phosban reactor. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthre...postid=11561141

It could be you testing kit if it is always high.
Rjohn
I take water to two LFS just for a double check. I wish it was the test kit.
don duncan
I saw one in corpus at at pet store. They swear by it. Theres used alcohol to remove 02 from the water and harvest anerobic bacteria. The bacteria use the nitrates. The store was tropical something. You can look them up on the web, Im sure they would talk with you about it. They were very nice.
