GKarshens
I just got the Gen II Vertex IN-250. I have to say I am pretty impressed so far. It is already producing some skimmate! Pics! It's big!

+mcallahan
I'd be interested to see how much the bubble plate on the bottom helps reduce turbulence. I might drop by tomorrow pm on my way back. You be around say 230? Good god that thing is tall. Edited March 14, 2009 by azcummins

+mcallahan
I'd be interested in one, but the one rated for my tank has an 8" body = won't fit in the sump. Don't you say it Gabriel b/c I know what you are going to say!
GKarshens
Thanks! I am really impressed so far. I got it through Kingfish. The company is connected with Bubble King somehow. The 100 is a 6" body. Besides, you need a bigger sump anyway.
classclownfish
There is always something exciting about opening near gear. Even looking at the unwrap pictures makes me feel like a little kid at Xmas.
rosslonghorns
Yep, I've been looking at the new Cone line from Vertex / Royal Exclusiv. Pretty neat and an awesome introductory price, but will hold out a bit as the cone skimmers become established and all the kinks are worked out. Nice skimmer, let's see some skimmate pics!
