Truckin
I'm new to this stuff. Can anyone tell me what this is? It's about 1-1/2 inches tall. Is it a good guy or bad? Thanks.
cmanning
It's an Aptasia-----a form of an anemone. Not good......you want to get rid off ASAP or it will spread all over your rocks. They will sting some corals and can sting small fish. There are products out there that will help kill it. "Blue Line Aptasia Control" seems to work. -Cindy-
Nano_Steve
I've tried alot of natural controls like peppermint shrimp and kalkwasser injections and in my experience a product called Aiptasia X works the best, hands down. You can pick it up for about $15 but over the life of a tank it will definitely pay for itself in getting rid of these things...I hate aiptasia... -Steve
JBoy251
I had some in my tank and a friend told me that Peppermint Shrimp eat them and I have n't seen anymore since.

JEN H
It's aptasia. We got about 4 pepermint shrimp....we have two left now. They took care of them along with Joe's Juice. I think that the shrimp did the best work though. Good luck!
Truckin
I used Aptasia X. I worked great and fast. I recommend it.
