Hi guys. Wondering if anyone has any experience with denitrators on their systems? I have been reading a little bit and trying to decide if this is a good idea for our 210 gallon. Our nitrates aren't really high, but I really want to get them as close to zero as possible before starting to add corals. We are currently around 20 ppm.

Do these things actually work?

Thanks!

I recently hooked one up on my 215. It to my amazement works so far . the effluent measures 0 nitrates. I dont think I will ever have 0 nitrates in the tank. Too many hungry big fish. Also if I dont stay on top of my ro/di I get nitrates in my make up water when my di resin is exhausted, and it exhausts pretty fast. I think salado water supply is sending sewer water to my house.I try not to think about it when I am having a glass.

Thanks for the info. How long have you had it on your tank now?
