pbnj Posted December 8, 2008 Share Posted December 8, 2008 (edited) I feel my sandbed is too shallow and I want to add more sand to my established tank (about another 1-2 inches). Do you think there would be any adverse effects if I put new sand on top of the existing sand? I would do it slowly and in sections (I'm talking about 1/6th of the tank every month).
