In about a month I will have some pink limeaides and some super orange ones with neon green mouths. I'm afraid to just cut them away though as I've heard they release a toxin into the water. hammondegge Posted September 14, 2006 Share Posted September 14, 2006 cut away, but it is better to glue rubble next to them and them pull it off when the zoas hop on. they are known to produce a nerve toxin though. palythoas (or protopalythoas, i cant remember) can be especially potent, best to use gloves when handling them a lot. and watch they dont squirt you in the eye. IT I was thinking that you were specifically asking for paly's, or sand buttons, as you had already asked about zoas in another thread. I have about 30 colors of zoos that I could cut as well. Nothing to trade? I was that way once. Promise to grow them out and pass them onto other local reefers and promise to remember me someday down the road and I'll see what I can scrape off for you. I think there were 2 rocks with about 10 heads each. that is a rare piece right now and I only took 2 heads so as not to be greedy. He is in San Marcos and was very easy to deal with.
