The multiple oscula (little holes that let the circulating water leave the sponge) are all coming out of the same body. That is more in line with a sponge than the more advanced tunicates. If you can cut a little piece off and it all looks like the same stuff, its a sponge. There is no tissue differentiation in a sponge and only a couple of different types of cells. Looks really awesome and sponges are great little water filters that remove a lot of organics from your tank. Anyways, he was in the deep end of that tank, underneath rocks that I can't get too. Well everything is slowly reviving. I still have a pagoda that never fully open, but I think it will survive.
