Entropy
Do any of the LFS take live rock on trade? I am thinking about breaking down my 150g and converting to fresh water.
+JoseZ
RCA gives you some credit I believe.
+Jimbo662
Yeah, I took some to RCA several weeks ago and got a store credit.
Entropy
Kind of feel bad because I have been cooking most of this rock for about eight years now, but reality says I am never going to take it to the next step and I would rather kill $2-3 fish in a fresh water setup. Plus most of my equipment is getting to the failure age. Here is a picture from this week. The tank is a 150g cube (36x36x24).
+FluxCapacitor
I dunno if it makes a difference but I've heard that fresh water is a lot more work because of the amount of water changes you have to do constantly. I could be very wrong though because I haven't read much into it.
Entropy
I have kept both and FW is much less maintenance. I have an RO unit, so making fresh water is not an issue. I am basically hoping to trade the live rock for enough money/credit to restock with fresh water stuff.
