They fit the back 1/3ish of the tank so a screen top can be put on the front to prevent carpet surfing. They have slots cut in them for wires and holes cut into them that fit 1/4x1/4 John guest thread in fittings that are not included. They fit a fluval C4 hang on back which isn't included and a tunze 9001 skimmer which is included. The tunze skimmers have all the required mods to make them skim like champs and they both have the InTank collection cups. Both skimmers have fairly recent pumps, less then 1 year.
