Wade Posted May 20, 2015 Share Posted May 20, 2015 I'm thinking of converting an old 25g tank from a QT to a stand alone frag tank. This will be my first frag tank so of course I'll research the heck out of it:) I've got an AquaFuge 2 that I got a while back and have never put to use. If I go fishless, then I don't think I would need a skimmer although I think they make skimmer's that will fit. A little crushed coral, some rock and some cheato should do the trick. I think all I'll need then is maybe a carbon reactor and and kalk in my ATO. I also have a 2-part dosing system, but I'm fairly ignorant about figuring out how to dial it in. I'll need to research that again and figure it out. Starting out I think the kalk will be fine since my stock of coral will be fairly low. What are your thoughts on using the HOB fuge on a frag tank?
