YeetPopper
Yesterday, I added two ocellaris clowns to my tank and tried to feed them some pellets (1mm) a few hours later. They would attempt to eat it and then spit it out and try again. Are the pellets too big? What sized pellets should I get? Thanks Any Advice is appreciated
Reburn
That is normal for my smaller clown. Softer food for smaller clowns in my experience works better. I feed mostly rods food and hakari krill with 2 drops of Kent garlic Xtreme. Even then I meter the food out to the tank only putting a little bit in at a time. When they stop eating I stop feeding. I only feed every other day. I only feed new life spectrum pellets if I think about it and only just a pinch.
YeetPopper
I crushed up the pellets even more, now they're eating.
