CJohnson
I just got my new skimmer and it keeps overflowing the cup. I think it might be because it is to deep it is in about 10 inches of water! and I dont know how to raise it. Any ideas it is still breaking in that might be the problem to! jolt
If it's similar to my old bubble magus 3.5, the blue tube can be turned clockwise to make it skim more dry. On mine a setting of 5 would be the most dry.

jolt
Try holding it higher just as a test. Maybe in 8" of water.

Richard L
Have you used any treatment like Chemiclean? How about any expoxy putty or a bunch of superglue in the tank? Any of those things will send my skimmer into overdrive. I have to shut it off for several weeks until the carbon takes the instigator out of the water. To raise it just use anything flat and plastic. I have an acrylic pedestal that I built for mine but then used prescription bottle caps to get an extra 1/2 inch.
