+KimP Posted May 14, 2014 Share Posted May 14, 2014 I need to pick a pump for the closed loop on my new build. I'd like to use a variable speed pump controllable through my apex. Anyone have experience with the Jebaos? I don't know much about picking pumps in general. I'm looking at the Reef Octopus Diablo pumps and Jebao. Thanks for any advice! rockstarwiggle Posted May 14, 2014 Share Posted May 14, 2014 I currently just started using the jebao dc3000 on my new build as a return pump. I love it. It is a variable. It really cool how it ramps up sloooowly as you increase the speed. Pretty quite. I also placed a rubber mat under it. It is compact too! +reeflover Posted May 14, 2014 Share Posted May 14, 2014 havent try jebao pump yet but i love my wp40s. i am using my diablo 3500s for skimmer and 5500 for my return pump. They both came with the variable speed controller. they are so quite which i like. you wont be able to tell they are running even you stand next to them.
