overflow air in siphon tube

i also had a prob with that and even with air tube i still had a small bubble in there that i couldnt get out.... i eventually had to turn my return pump way up and once the bubble went away i turned return pump back down....if that makes any sense

I drilled my U tube and superglued a hard airline connector inside. Then I hooked it up to the intake on my gfo pump. That way it pulls any air that gets caught out immediately. Also I would recommend buying a float switch for you return pump. If your handy you can build one or buy one from here http://autotopoff.com/products/ST1/ . I learned my lesson when I emptied my sump onto the carpet while I was at work.
