4R00P3R Posted January 15, 2008 Share Posted January 15, 2008 I have a 48" TekLight 8 lamp T5 fixture. 2 of the lights haven't been coming on lately on their own. If I turn off the power and turn it back on they work. The 2 bulbs are next to each other and on the same switch. Can someone please help me before I get dieoff? Entropy Posted January 15, 2008 Share Posted January 15, 2008 I suspect you have a ballast going south. The best way to trouble shoot lighting is to start by checking all the endcaps and wiring to make sure they are in good shape. Then swap the bulbs to elsewhere in the fixture and see if you get the same effect. If so, you have eliminated the bulbs from the equation and that leaves the ballast(s). Is it still under warranty?
