+Grog
Not an emergency, though it is close. Got in a bunch of stuff today. Some unexpected sponges. Tree, ball, flower, etc. How do I mount these? I've heard they are not supposed to be exposed to air so that complicates things.... Glue? Sit them on top of what I want them to attach to? Any ideas? Pics to come later. Timfish
A lot of sponges are a lot more tolerant of being exposed to air than is commonly believed. You do want to minimize exposure as much as possible unless you have experience with them. They are a problem mounting though and I just resort to wedging them between rocks. +Grog
Tree sponge.... "gave it the wedgie" Ball sponges are 'chilling' on the sand bed. Long term? Should I up-end them, with the butt barely out of the water, dab super glue on the bottom, revert, and stick them on a rock? Never kept any before but I'd really like to see them last. bige
You can glue underwater. Easier with gel super glue. Assuming you can use that on sponges (idk for sure).
