Kate Rawlinson is headed to the Mote Marine Lab in the Florida Keys and needs live AEFW (Amakusaplana acroporae) in order to do some limited research on both of the Caribbean acros, palmata and capricornis. If you happen to have corals that are infected, you can use a turkey baster to blast them off the corals and then immediately suck them up in the baster. The flatworms need to be separated from the colonies they are living in, once you have them out of the tank, you can participate by sending live samples overnight to Kate for a Thursday delivery. You will be provided with a Fedex shipping code so you pay nothing for contributing to the study. We really need your help to gather enough AEFWs to put together a meaningful study.
