lenver
So I woke up this morning and my new six line wrasse is missing, no trace at all, overflow, ground, sump, no body in the tank at all. Could a GBTA eat him whole? It was a small six line wrasse
AquaJohn
depends how large the gbta is but that is a food source for them. He may also still be sleeping in the rocks someplace. I have had fish disappear for days and just know they were clean up crew dinner then all the sudden show up. I have also had several never return and never find a body. Jimbo662
I read that a lot of times they can stay buried in the sand the first few days in a new tank.

Bpb
If it doesn't show up within another week id assume it was eaten by the anemone or your cuc. It can happen though. Dustin's haddoni ate a juvie hippo tang.
