Not really a good story other than not getting hurt.
I had one palm on the control box of a machine and leaned over to pick up a tool and when my other palm touched a metal rack it was aparent that the ground cable to the machine had failed and I became the ground. It caused me to convolse and that pulled my hands away braking the connection. Both arms and my sholders feel like I did a 30 day workout in about 10 min. lots of stuff can. Stress from being moved. stress from others picking on it not acclimating <sp> correctly wounds from being attacked or crashing into rocks. it was already sick at the store

Did you try putting a mirror in the fish trap. If he is aggressive it works better than food

I think you may have to cut back on feeding. Im sure the food you feed tastes better than the aptasia. It may cost a bit but if you get a bunch of peperment shrimp it will take a whilel for your fish to eat them all. make sure they are hungry

probly to late but If you want to drive to burnet I have a long skinny tub that will hold it. But it would probly be cheeper to h it up lowes or HD and get some rubbermaid trash cans

you might want to look up pastic-mart.com. They have about any and every size shape plastic container you can think of they also will custom build a mold to make a tank to fit in an odd place. Might not be cheep for a custom one but hey what is in this hobbie lol. They are located in burnet texas about 3 miles from my house. they got from 1/2 gal up to 20ish thousand gal tanks.

thanks for the info guys. My sailfin is about 3" long and I have room against the back wall a channle in the middle and room in front of the rock with lots of "caves" to get from front to middle to back. Its mostly tonga rock. and the tank is 59" long and 20 wide. and I think 21 tall. Duno if its worth it to try and add anoter then have to rip my rocks down to catch the sucker if they fight

I have a sailfin tang and wanted to add a yellow tang ? What are the chances of them not fighting ? or is there another tang that I could add with my sailfin with a better shot of them not fighting. Or am i wrong in thinking they will battle it out ? thanks

I just went through this with my set up and it did not really help to scrub stuff till the cycle was almost over . While it was making the diatoms <sp> its not actualy algae they come back so fast it was pointless to scrub . Good thing was it only lasted 4-5 days. I hope you have a clean up crew in there becaues the green algae and hair algae come next and spread kind of fast if you dont have stuff that eats it.

That rock is amazing if you did not sell it all please call me I left my number in a pm before. I will gladly take whats left. All of the critters left in the tank you have looked super healthy and anyone thinking of any of the stuff you have left should jump on it.

I dont think the car wash is a good Idea even there clean water from the gun is recycled and has soap in it.
