Acro eating snail

my guess is euplica versicolor. nothing in literature suggests its a coral eater though. perhaps it was just eating slime off of the coral that had RTN? Sure did look like it was chewed on vs RTNd.

I've read that snails with a "lip" on the shell (like nassarius snails) that tapers like that are predatory. You might want to hit up John Malony from reefcleaners.org. He might be able to ID it, especially if they're Caribbean snails.

Upon further consideration, don't think these guys were actively eating my coral, just scavenging on dying tissue (i.e., non-predatory). They actually do a pretty good job cruising the glass and cleaning up. They also reproduce like mad.
